
A total of twelve juniors from Northern California now have official FIDE ratings published on the
January 2009 list. Special kudos to my 15 year old student
Evan Sandberg (
photo above) for earning his brand new international rating. Evan's FIDE rating is even quite respectable at 2131, thanks largely to a master level performance at the
Tuesday Night Marathon last summer.
