Black can try to win the queen on the g-file with Rg8, but now white turns the tables with Ra7+ and mate soon.

The move played in the real game is very tricky. It is mate in 7, but all of the moves are checks. Moves 1, 2 and 4 of the combination may be hard to find.Michael Aignerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16166841797285152190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7288608344339782413.post-86866818359287615502008-05-02T09:18:00.000-07:002008-05-02T09:18:00.000-07:00As jolly pointed out, chess.emrald.net is known as...As jolly pointed out, chess.emrald.net is known as the Chess Tactics Server (CTS). Chess Tempo arrived second. I prefer the two modes and the smoother interface of Chess Tempo. Also, CTS is really discouraging because my rating is down near 1500.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7288608344339782413.post-76645282172425008882008-05-01T22:48:00.000-07:002008-05-01T22:48:00.000-07:00Another chess tactics server that's very good is :...Another chess tactics server that's very good is :
http://chess.emrald.net/

It's been around for a while and some of the problems are quite challenging, especially within the time constraints.jollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06544898955457020348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7288608344339782413.post-53274206815605916332008-05-01T16:50:00.000-07:002008-05-01T16:50:00.000-07:00Actually nevermind, I just figured it out:...
